What Do We Do With The Donations We Receive?
According to the resources available to us, we make a discretionary decision to engage in a particular race for public office based on what is most likely to bring about the desired result, electing men, whether that means defending a public office from being taken by a woman, or flipping an office held by a woman to being held by a man. Not all offices are equal. Offices of the Judiciary are given extra weight because of the particular unsuitability of women in those offices.
Once we decide to engage in a particular race, we make a discretionary decision as to which candidates are viable, then donate an equal amount to all viable men in that race, in order to avoid partisanship and keep the focus on the goal of electing men. Political activism based on policy/ideas/ideology can be left to other organizations.
We reserve the right to exercise discretion in which races we engage in, whether Democratic or Republican, primaries or generals, though we may consider the origin of donations we receive and participate accordingly. For example, our organization may often participate in Republican primaries, and/or give contributions to Republican candidates in general elections, but we may be more willing to participate in Democratic primaries, and contribute to Democratic candidates in general elections, if a particular large donor, or many small donors, demonstrate interest in our organization working within their party.
The Vote Men PAC currently only operates in Florida, but expansion into other states is our intention as we gain momentum. We place much more emphasis on state and local politics, rather than federal politics, and so any expansion would be primarily focused on state governments rather than federal government.
